REWARD OFFERED! MISSING BIRD IN AUBURN, ALABAMA! Help me find my quaker parrot parakeet!
The above photo is not of actual bird, but depicts what the bird looks like. The bird is a green quaker parrot. I first bought this bird in 2007. The bird is about 16 years old, and can live to be 20 to 30 years old. I love this bird and want to find it very badly. Believing I was making the best decision for the bird in around 2013/2014, I sold the bird to a person I had no idea would re-sell the bird. My intention was not to erase the bird from my life, and I had been led to believe the buyer wanted the bird for himself. If I had known, I never would have sold the bird. I found out the bird was re-sold at a pet store in Auburn, Alabama called Petz Unleashed (now closed) around 2014. I would like to find the bird to see how the bird is doing. Part of my problem is somebody could very well still have this bird in the Auburn area, but they are totally unaware that this bird is “missing” to me and that somebody is looking for the bird. The bird has a distinct mark that I could identify and I also have a DNA sample of the bird that can be used to identify the bird. Whatever you can do to assist me in my search, I appreciate. I plan to run billboard campaigns, online advertising, and direct mail advertising. So even if it is donating to me to help me cover those expenses, that would be great. If you are anywhere near the Auburn area and can assist me with posting flyers and trying to reach people, that would be great as well. I’m offering a reward to anybody who can help me find my bird! You can contact me through the Contact page or by Text: 706-639-5907.
UPDATE: I wanted to add that the name I gave the bird was Happy, but I don’t know the name got transmitted to the subsequent buyer. Also, I don’t know what information about the bird’s age was transmitted to the subsequent buyer, so any current owner may be unaware just how old the bird is.
I still haven’t been re-united with my bird. But in all of this, I believe God has impressed upon my heart what a gift from Him animals are. What a gift this bird was to me for the years I had the bird. People have asked me why I don’t go get another bird. My answer is simple. The bird I had can’t be re-created. It’s not like getting a new car. Each and every animal is an individual with a soul. In 100 years from now, the inanimate objects I possess won’t be with me in eternity. But my pets will be. Other people will be. If only we all treated each other and animals like our most prized possessions, what a much world this would be.
